Carlo Ancelotti admits he “hopes” Milan’s new Chinese owners can bring success back to the club.

A new era has dawned on Milan following Silvio Berlusconi’s recent sale of the club to a Chinese consortium, and former Rossoneri boss Ancelotti believes the onus is now on them to prove they mean business.

“Milan to the Chinese? It’s the end of the great President Berlusconi’s cycle,” he told Radio Rai.

“There’s a tendency to forget what he did, but his history is unique.
