According to reports in Morocco, Sofyan Amrabat has agreed personal terms with Atletico Madrid, but Fiorentina are determined to get at least €30m.

The midfielder had been on the verge of joining Barcelona in January after taking Morocco to the 2022 World Cup semi-final in Qatar.

However, the Blaugrana could only afford to get him on loan with an option to buy, which was rejected outright by the Viola.

Now Moroccan reporter Izem Anass claims that Amrabat has agreed personal terms for the move to Atletico Madrid.

Fiorentina are still determined to make it difficult for them, as Calciomercato.com note that while the asking price has dropped from the €40m in January, they still intend to pick up at least €30m.

Amrabat has a contract that expires in June 2024, but it also contains an option to extend for another year, so the Serie A side do not feel they are over a barrel.
