Sofyan Amrabat is currently in the process of completing his Manchester United medicals in Italy ahead of his transfer from Fiorentina, Sky Sports report.
The Red Devils have agreed to sign the Moroccan midfielder on a €10m loan deal with a €25m total option to buy. The Viola had hoped to negotiate an obligation to buy clause but ultimately settled in order to facilitate the transfer.
Amrabat shot to prominence for his incredible performances with Morocco at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, earning him immediate interest from across Europe. A departure seemed inevitable this summer and he hasn’t appeared for Fiorentina in their first four outings of the season.
As reported by Sky Sports UK, Amrabat is now in the process of carrying out his medicals for Manchester United in Italy, on the verge of completing his transfer in the final hours of the market.
During his time in Florence, Amrabat scored once and provided one assist across 107 total appearances. Fiorentina have decided to sign Maxime Lopez from Sassuolo as his replacement.
