Italian giants Inter have reportedly wrapped up a deal to sign Argentine Ricky Alvarez from Velez Sarsfield.

Alvarez will apparently move to the San Siro giants in a switch that will eventually cost the Beneamata13.7m.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder will sign a five-year contract that will reportedly be worth €1.8m a season.

Alvarez, who made his professional debut for Velez in 2008, was also being tracked by Palermo and Arsenal.

The youngster has played in 44 games for Velez in all competitions, scoring five goals in the process.

The expected move has yet to be made official by Inter or Velez.
