Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli warns the Juventus tie is far from over – “it will be crucial not to get carried away”.

The English side came back from 2-0 down in the Champions League Last 16 tie to earn a 2-2 draw in Turin, putting them in the driving seat ahead of tomorrow’s second leg.

“In the first 10 or 20 minutes Juve showed what they’re capable of, then we were able to show what we could do,” Alli told the Italian version of UEFA’s official website.

“Finding ourselves two goals down straight away wasn't nice, but being able to pull it back in their back yard was a great achievement for us and now we start from a great position.

“That doesn’t mean it’s over though.

“I know that our opponents have so much quality and can be dangerous at any moment. That’s what the Champions League is like, opponents are dangerous even when you have the ball, so it will be crucial not to get carried away.

“If we have the ball, we need to make sure we tighten up quickly and stay focused. We’ll have a clear tactical plan in our head when we kick off, and we’ll do everything we can to win the game.

“That’s the objective.”
