Milan have insisted that there is no danger that boss Massimiliano Allegri will leave the club over the summer.

The tactician’s contract is set to expire in June 2012 and he’s yet to put pen to paper on a new agreement.

“Allegri will certainly be here with us next season,” noted Vice-President Adriano Galliani. “During these times we have to spend carefully, but we’ll reach an economical deal with him.

“Nevertheless, we’ve always chosen our Coaches based on the type of football that they play because we want a Milan who play well.

“After all, there is a way to win and also a way to lose. Milan have always been a side who want to impose their own brand.

“Allegri is a Coach whose Sassuolo and Cagliari sides played good football.”

The former Pescara player moved to Milan in the summer of 2010 and instantly delivered the Scudetto at his first attempt at San Siro.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have offered the tactician a deal worth €2m a season plus bonuses.

Allegri, meanwhile, is asking for a €2.5m deal with fewer bonus payments.
