“Milan are at the level of the big European clubs,” the former Cagliari” data-scaytid=”4″>Cagliari boss told the Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday.

“Barcelona and Real Madrid are the best in the Champions League, but we can beat Barca at San Siro. It's not a normal game against Barcelona, it's a Final.

“Saying that we can’t try to emulate Real or Barca – we just have to be ourselves.”

Milan want to defeat Barcelona in their next Champions League game in an effort to finish top of Group H. Barca are currently in first on 10 points, two clear of the Italian side with two games to go.

One man who could prove vital in that clash is former Barca striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a striker whose new autobiography has caused a stir.

“Ibrahimovic is worth the same as Cristiano Ronaldo of Real and Barca’s Lionel Messi,” Allegri continued.

“Ibra’s revelations in his autobiography? I think Ibrahimovic said those things so he could sell lots of copies of his book…”
