Napoli defender Raul Albiol insists the Scudetto race “isn’t over”, despite Juventus’ perfect start.

The Bianconeri have won all seven of their opening matches and have already established a six point lead over Carlo Ancelotti’s side, having beaten them last weekend.

“A few mistakes cost us,” Albiol recalled on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“In those kind of games you get punished for every mistake. They were more aggressive after they equalised, but the goal was more about our mistake.

“After 2-1 we started playing again, we had a lot of chances but it’s difficult having 10-men away at Juventus.

“Is the title race already over? No, it’s not over. We knew from the start that Juventus were favourites, they spent a lot of money and bought great players. But it’s too early to say they’ve already won.

“We know we have to do a lot to be up there with them, but there’s no use talking we just have to think about winning, starting with Sunday.

“If we keep winning then it’s all to play for.”
