Ajax have confirmed that Juventus are interested in signing teenage defender Matthijs de Ligt.
De Ligt has been heavily linked with Juve for some time and Edwin van der Sar, a former Bianconeri goalkeeper who now works as Ajax’s general manager, confessed his old club were after the 19-year-old.
“Will De Ligt go to Juventus? I can say that there’s only one team in Italy who want him, but I don’t know if he’ll go to Juventus…” he told Rai Sport.
