Andrea Agnelli has denied having met with Erick Thohir yet, but says his ‘phone is always on’ should the Inter President reach out.

The Juventus” data-scaytid=”3″>Juventus President was rumoured to be meeting with his Nerazzurro counterpart during this week, on from last week’s fall-out between the clubs over the dropped Fredy Guardin-Mirko Vucinic swap deal.

“Have I heard from Thohir? Honestly, no, but my phone is on at any hour. I reply to everyone at all times. And Claudio [Lotito] knows that,” half-joked Agnelli yesterday evening.

The Juve patron was talking at the Gran Gala del Calcio awards in Milan yesterday evening, accepting Juve’s prize as best club.

“Our objective is to always win. That’s the verb we state on a daily basis and have been repeating since May, already thinking about the date with history that would be represented by a third successive Scudetto title.

“How much does it mean to have a modern stadium? Sports facilities have been an issue on the League and Federation’s agenda for a long time.

“It is a key issue, the Juventus Stadium should not remain an isolated jewel in Italian football.

“And, my personal hope is that all teams in the top division and also in Serie B have stadiums that are at the level that Italian football wants them to be at.

“I think FIGC President Abete would agree with me that Italian football wants to go back to being No 1.”
