“Pep Guardiola wants to keep him and he’s been in England for a long time, but he’s close to turning 31 years old and wants to experience a different League,” agent Federico Pastorello told GR Parlamento radio in Italy.

“We’ll see if it’s this year or the next, but we could see him in Italy shortly.”
Pastorello also represents Inter full-back Yuto Nagatomo, who recently signed a contract extension.
“His renewal was strongly wanted from both sides, despite much more important offers from Germany. In fact, we’re talking 40-50 per cent higher wages.
“Bayer Leverkusen, in particular, showed huge interest, but his desire to remain at Inter facilitated negotiations.”
