The former Manchester United man’s contract expires at the end of the coming season, but his representative is relaxed about the situation.
“We haven’t talked about the contract,” Andrea Pastorello told FirenzeViola.

“We haven’t talked about the contract,” Andrea Pastorello told FirenzeViola.
“The relationship with the club is excellent and friendly, we’ll always be willing to consider any offer.”
The agent then gave an indication of his client’s fitness, and his impressions of new Viola Coach Paulo Sousa.
“We were the ones who asked to meet Sousa, it seems only logical and correct to give the new Coach some information about Giuseppe.
“There was a lot of openness and availability on his part, he’s a solid person. Rossi is an important player for Fiorentina, I think it’s right to work in harmony with the club.
“These days the top clubs use a specific program for every individual player. Rossi will have his own program in terms of exercise, diet, resting and so on.
“Each player has his own physical and mental characteristics, that’s why we thought it was useful to meet the new coaching staff.
“When he plays he’ll always give 100 per cent. Of course, instead of doing the dirty work, his contribution to the game will be more surgical. It’s about quality more than quantity.
“He’s available to the Coach, he’s already played some matches in the U.S over the holidays. Obviously the Coach will decide when he plays.
“He’d like to play on the American tour, they’re playing around the corner from his house.”
