The Partenopei President was furious after Soren Lerby hinted his client could move to Inter, and threatened legal action in a radio interview yesterday.

The Partenopei President was furious after Soren Lerby hinted his client could move to Inter, and threatened legal action in a radio interview yesterday.

Following De Laurentiis’ threat, the agent has backtracked from his previous statements, but will not be drawn on the threat of litigation.

“De Laurentiis words?” Lerby considered, speaking to FCInterNews.

“I heard them, but I’d rather not talk about it publicly.

“Will Mertens stay at Napoli? Yes, I think so.

“Is the Inter option off the table? I don’t know, honestly, you should ask the Napoli directors.”
