Nikola Kalinic’s agent is “pleased” by reported interest from Napoli, but his client is “focused” on Fiorentina.
The Croatian striker joined the Viola from Dnipro this summer, and has scored 10 Serie A goals so far this season, leading to speculation he could move to the Partenopei.
“It’s normal to be pleased by the interest of a club like Napoli,” Tomislav Erceg admitted, speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“It’s normal to be pleased by the interest of a club like Napoli,” Tomislav Erceg admitted, speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“In the past few years [Aurelio] De Laurentiis’ club has grown exponentially both in Italy and Europe. At the moment I don’t know anything and I can’t say anything because no-one has contacted me.
“Kalinic has only been playing in Italy for a short time, and we’re grateful to Paulo Sousa, the Coach who believed in him, and to Fiorentina who have staked everything on Nikola’s quality.
“Napoli in the future? Never say never in football! After all, we’re from Split, a city which is very similar to Naples in terms of living and outlook on life.
“We’re close to the Neapolitans in many ways. That’s why I say never say never.
“But I repeat, he’s grateful to Fiorentina, and is focused on the Viola’s goals for the season.”
