“Kalinic is fine,” Tomislav Erceg assured Radio Crc.

“He’s maybe a little tired, as he played two games in four days for Croatia, but he’s available to [Coach Paulo] Sousa.

“Him being on the pitch on Sunday will be entirely down to what the Coach decides. Kalinic returned to Italy on Wednesday, and he has trained with the team.”

Erceg then discussed the Scudetto race, revealing he does not see the Inter and Milan as serious contenders.

“With Paulo Sousa, all the players play for the good of the team, no-one plays for himself. Fiorentina are top of the table, and it’s permissible to dream, but there’s a long way to go.

“It will be interesting to see how Fiorentina approach the game at Napoli and then at home to Roma.

“In terms of the fight at the top, I’m sure Juventus will move up the table because they’re a talented and experienced team, and let’s not forget Napoli and Roma.

“I don’t believe in the Milan teams, however. As for Fiorentina, I’d be happy if they made it to the Champions League.”
