Elseid Hysaj's agent says a Manchester United move would be “very nice” but he won’t leave Napoli in January.

The right-back signed a new contract with the Partenopei last month, but has nonetheless been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

“He’s in a calm period,” Mario Giuffredi, Hysaj’s agent, said in an interview with Tuttomercatoweb.

“He’s in a calm period,” Mario Giuffredi, Hysaj’s agent, said in an interview with Tuttomercatoweb.

“We’ve renewed his contract and that was calm from every point of view. He’s having a good season, he needs to reach the levels of last year and he’ll get there.

“In a year he’s played 60 matches between the League and the national team, now there’s a bit of calm and he can raise his level of performance.

“The most important clubs are following him. As for Manchester United, well, it would be very nice.

“I never want to move players in January, afer that it’s clear: when there are tempting offers you must consider them.

“I’m not saying we could do it in January, that wouldn’t be right. But if an offer comes in then we’d think about it and evaluate it.”
