Contract talks are ongoing for the Albanian international, who joined the Partenopei last summer from Empoli, but a successful conclusion appears to be a formality.
“We’ll renew calmly,” Mario Giuffredi said on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“I thank President [Aurelio] De Laurentiis and his staff for recognising that, after the season the team has, there might be financial adjustments.

“It’s obvious that they’ll try to swing things in their favour, as will the agents. We’ve said right form the start that we want to stay at Napoli, and there’s no interest in talking to other clubs.
“He has proven to be one of the top players in Europe in his role, Napoli can make huge profits [on him] in the future.
“I don’t object to a release clause, if the biggest teams want a top player they can spend more than €40-50m, €10m won’t make a difference.
“The player will be satisfied, if we don’t reach a deal tomorrow I’m sure we will in the near future.”
