Elseid Hysaj has ‘already informed Napoli we will not renew his contract, as we wish to leave,’ confirmed the Albania international’s agent.
The 26-year-old has been at the club since 2015 and his deal is due to expire in June 2021.
“We have already informed Napoli that we will not renew his contract, as we wish to leave this club,” agent Mario Giuffredi told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“The President was told about this around 20 days ago, so we’ll try to find the best solution for Napoli.”

There is a €50m release clause that is valid only for clubs outside of Italy, but that won’t be necessary with the very real risk of losing him for free.
Giuffredi also represents Napoli defenders Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Mario Rui, but their situation is different.
