The agent of Fiorentina midfielder Borja Valero says ‘his future is in Florence’ ahead of the new season.
The Spaniard has been with La Viola since 2012 but will face increased competition this season after the arrival of Mario Suarez.
However, agent Alejandro Camano ruled out any unrest when speaking to Radio Blu.
“Every year there are new arrivals and there’s always great competition for places at a team like Fiorentina. This can only be good for Borja,” he said.

“The renewal? Borja has indicated a personal situation with the family. He’s very happy in the city and with the team.
“His future is at Fiorentina, on both a personal and sporting level.
“Everyone needs to find their place in the world and I think Florence is the right one for him.”
