“The decision was tied to the opportunity to play regular first-team football, as Patrick is 21 years old and needs to play in order to grow,” agent Donato Orgnoni told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“There were many clubs who admired him, including Napoli, but they are a top team and we needed someone who could guarantee consistent playing time.
“Perhaps a big club wouldn’t have allowed him to do that.”
Milan fans were upset at the sale, but even more so when learning it was for €18m plus €5m in bonuses.
“I believe that figure was too low, but only time will tell if Milan or Wolverhampton got the better of that deal, even if I already have a pretty good idea.”
