Domenico Criscito's agent doesn't rule out a move to Inter, but warns Zenit St Petersburg won't accept a loan option.

The full-back was linked to the Nerazzurri this summer, but ultimately the deal fell through for economic reasons.

“Inter showed their interest and I won't deny that we discussed a possible transfer with them,” Criscito's agent Andrea D'Amico told FcInterNews. “But Zenit asked for a high price for the player, and the option of a loan was unacceptable to the Russians.”

The question of whether Criscito himself would have accepted the move was left open.

“First we'd need some certainties, something concrete in our hands before we can answer this question.

“It's hard to say now whether a move in January is possible. There's still quite a while to go before the opening of the market.”
