Aurelio De Laurentiis says Napoli will have “two new strikers” as one will be signed and Arkadiusz Milik will return.
The Partenopei have been without an out-and-out striker since the Polish international was injured, but the President assures they’ll be in better condition by the time they face Real Madrid in the Champions League.
“Real Madrid are a very strong team, they have champions,” De Laurentiis told Canale 21 at the release of his new Christmas film.

“Real Madrid are a very strong team, they have champions,” De Laurentiis told Canale 21 at the release of his new Christmas film.
“We’re not joking around though, and we’ll have Milik back. For when he recovers we’ll have bought another one, who we hope will fit well into [Maurizio] Sarri’s style of play.
“Then with Real Madrid we’ll see who we’ll deploy, in some ways we’ll have two new strikers.
“Right now we’re thinking of Torino though, it will be a tough game and they have [Andrea] Belotti who is a great striker.
“Let’s not think of Christmas already, we’re staying focused and we’ll need humility with Torino and Fiorentina.”
De Laurentiis was also asked about Stadio San Paolo, and criticised the council over the state of the arena.
“I don’t own it. Earlier this year I offered a helping hand in fixing things up, in addition to €1m in April, but I was told they would do them in the summer.
“Then they postponed it until September, then October, then November then again. So we’ll try to put a good face on things with Real, but I’ll do a Press conference to say the stadium isn’t mine!
“I’ve spent several million which I shouldn’t have, I haven’t seen anything back from it for several years and I’m still waiting.
“That’s why, for now, we won’t pay the rent.”
