“Everything is possible as we have a good relationship with Manchester City and their people but we must negotiate.

“We are still not in agreement over the price for the player, but we’ll be near to the conclusion as they made an effort in the last few days.”

Agent Joao Santos is also expected in Manchester tomorrow for advanced negotiations to conclude the transfer.

The representative had said publicly yesterday that Jorginho would “not be happy” if the move didn’t go through.

“The player is waiting for Napoli’s decision. He has another two years on his contract and we will not renew it,” Santos told CalcioNapoli24.

“Jorginho is a professional, but this is the opportunity of a lifetime for him and his family. If he doesn’t go to Manchester City, he won’t be very happy.”
