Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis says he “erected a wall” to keep Kalidou Koulibaly at the club.
The centre-back was heavily linked with a move away in the summer, with Chelsea and other Premier League clubs said to be interested.
“I have a beautiful squad, I’ve always thought that,” De Laurentiis told Il Mattino.
“[Coach Carlo] Ancelotti always changes his line-up and that surprises our opponents. I like the fact that we push with one full-back and then the other, like that it’s all so unpredictable.

“There isn’t a day that goes by where we don’t get agents knocking on our door, but those who have Napoli in their heart will stay here.
“Look at Koulibaly, I erected a wall to keep him here with me, but that’s because he’s always put his heart inside that blue shirt.”
