Aurelio De Laurentiis will reportedly hand Napoli Coach Rafa Benitez a new three-year contract and boost his salary to €4m.
Today’s edition of Il Mattino reiterates a report from a few months ago that the President is ready to commit to a new long-term deal with the Spanish Coach, ahead of his second season with the club.
Benitez, whose current deal expires next summer, is seen as in line for a contract extension to June 2017 and an improved salary to €4m.
Whilst it is reported that the Spaniard is ready to commit, both he and De Laurentiis are described as in no rush to formalise the agreement.
