Palermo striker Abel Hernandez has returned to training for the first time since his cruciate ligament rupture in October.

The Uruguayan forward has been on the sidelines for four months following his knee injury, but according to reports has been back on the training pitch this morning with the team.

The 22-year-old was not expected to return until mid-April, but his return in today's session has fuelled hope at the club that he will be able to play in around six weeks' time.
