“Milito is Milito. Everyone knows what he's done in his career up till now and I still have a long way to go to achieve what he has.”

The young Argentine has had a problematic opening to the season, one affected by injury, but he’s still made the headlines for his Tweets of love aimed at Wanda Nara – the former wife of Catania striker Maxi Lopez.

“Social networking is a part of everyday life nowadays, but I don't write anything special – it's other people who write all sorts of things,” he claimed.

“Anyhow, I'm not going to talk about my private life. I want people to talk about what I do on the pitch.

“What's my dream for 2014? You have to build your dreams one day at a time.”
