Napoli have released their official squad photo for the 2024-25 season, lining up in the beautiful Chiaia subway station in the heart of Naples, symbolising the team’s bond with the city and its people.
The full Partenopei squad, including the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Scott McTominay and coach Antonio Conte, were in attendance for the photo shoot.
“It’s the first time I’ve participated in something like this after so many years in football,” Conte said when asked about the shoot during his pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon.
“I think we have to cultivate this bond between us and the city, and we can only do that by giving everything on the pitch,” he added.
Napoli will be back in Serie A action on Saturday afternoon, hosting Lecce in a 14.00 BST kick-off.
