Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer was subbed off after six minutes against RB Leipzig last night and reports in Italy claim that the Brazilian likely suffered a knee ligament injury.

Bremer will undergo medical tests in Turin this morning, but the Bianconeri fear their star defender sustained a cruciate ligament injury in the opening minutes of an away Champions League game in Leipzig last night.

The former Torino defender went down after a shoulder challenge with Lois Openda and was forced off the pitch after just six minutes.

Bremer was replaced by Italy international Federico Gatti in Leipzig last night.

The Bianconeri are expected to release an official statement today following Bremer’s medical tests.

Their next Serie A game is at home against Cagliari.
