Join us for the opening Europa League game of the season, as Lazio face off with Dynamo Kyiv on neutral turf in Hamburg.

It kicks off at the Volksparkstadion at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

Like the Champions League, this season the Europa League and Conference League have also changed formats to a single league table.

The teams will each face eight different opponents – four at home and four away – with the top eight teams going straight to the Round of 16, sides ranked 9-24 enter play-offs and 25-36 are eliminated from Europe.

Match report

UEL | Dynamo Kyiv 0-3 Lazio: Dia and Dele-Bashiru dominant

FT: Dynamo Kyiv 0-3 Lazio

A perfect start to the Europa League for Lazio, with Boulaye Dia goals around the Fisayo Dele-Bashiru strike.

94'

Lazio wanted a fourth there with the free kick nodded on by Isaksen, but the offside flag was up. Incorrectly.

90'

Into 4 minutes of stoppages.

89'

Another really good Provedel save to keep that clean sheet intact! Ferocious free kick from Vanat had burst through the wall.

88'

Romagnoli booked for a tackle just outside the box. He got the ball first, then caught Vanat on the follow-through, so again, some curious refereeing. It is a contact sport, you know that, right?

84'

Andriyevskiy and Guerrero on for Dynamo Kyiv, Kabaiev and Pikhalonok off.

82'
Noslin sent off!

He just came on 3 minutes ago! Again, that looks… not the worst thing in the world. Noslin caught Dubinchak on the nose with an elbow, but it looked like a mini-flick more than having any power behind it. More like he was trying to shove him away.

81'

Marusic floats a ball into the box, Castellanos looping header is just over the bar for Lazio. And there was a deflection, so corner.

79'

Noslin replaces Dele-Bashiru.

77'

Attendance: 7,751 in Hamburg. Around 837 are Lazio fans.

74'

Braharu is distraught, as well he might be, because there was absolutely no intent to hurt Zaccagni. He just slipped.

72'
Maksym Braharu sent off

Braharu trod on the back of Zaccagni’s heel. He was going for the ball, it was more clumsy than mean, but red card anyway.

71'
VAR!

There is a potential red card incident…

71'
Provedel save

Lazio give it away rather cheaply and a shot from a long way out is fingertipped away by Provedel. He’s furious with his teammates.

68'

Dia and Pedro off, Castellanos and Zaccagni on for Lazio.

67'

Isaksen strike fingertipped over the bar, but no corner given to Lazio.

64'

Shaparenko and Yarmolenko off for Dynamo Kyiv.

Braharu and Rubchynskyi on.

63'

Dubinchak booked for repeated fouling.

62'

Lazio again, Dele-Bashiru stumbles on the edge of the box, but the move continues and Dia has a shot charged down for a corner.

61'
Pedro off the post!

What a chance for Lazio!

Fantastic Dia pass off the outside of the boot to send Pedro sprinting, one-on-one he passes it around the goalkeeper and it bounces off the inside of the far post! Isaksen then sees his follow-up cleared off the line!

59'

Isaksen runs into the box, waits to take on the defender. And waits. And waits. And loses the ball.
