Lorenzo Bettoni and Nima Tavallaey break down the Milan derby from San Siro as the Rossoneri beat Inter 2-1 ending a six-game losing streak against their city rivals.

Milan secured a crucial 2-1 win over city rivals Inter on Sunday, reaching the Nerazzurri in sixth place with eight points in five matches.

Football Italia was among the accredited media on Sunday, and editor Lorenzo Bettoni and Nima Tavallaey of the Italian Football Podcast and SempreInter analysed the match.

Football Italia’s Wayne Girard also visited the Milan and Inter Clubs in New York before and after Sunday’s fixture.

Rossoneri coach Paulo Fonseca made a key tactical change, picking a 4-4-2 formation with Alvaro Morata and Tammy Abraham up front.

Inter, on the other hand, looked sloppy after a demanding Champions League game against Manchester City last week, and some decisions from Simone Inzaghi were not entirely convincing.
