Palmeiras defender Pedro Felipe landed in Italy this morning to undergo his medicals and sign his contract with Juventus.
The 19-year-old Brazilian centre back is joining the Bianconeri on a six-month loan deal with a €2m buy option attached. He’ll be slotted into the club’s Next Gen squad, giving him the chance to continue his development with regular playing time.
Pedro Felipe emerged as an exciting talent in the Palmeiras youth system over the last few years, attracting the attention of a number of clubs across Europe, but Juventus ultimately won the race to secure his signature.
As detailed by Gianluca Di Marzio, Pedro Felipe will complete his transfer to Juventus today after landing in Turin this morning, undergoing his medicals before penning his contract.
The 19-year-old has been heavily compared to compatriot and now teammate Gleison Bremer, known for his qualities of the ball, his defensive positioning and ability to launch into decisive tackles.
