Roma have confirmed Matias Vina’s permanent transfer to Flamengo.
The Uruguay international spent the first part of the season on loan at Sassuolo, but he returned to Roma before completing a permanent transfer to Brazilian side Flamengo.
The Giallorossi have confirmed the defender’s exit on their official website.
“AS Roma can confirm that Matias Vina has joined Flamengo on a permanent deal,” said the Giallorossi.
“Vina joined Roma in the summer of 2021, going to make 44 appearances for the club in all competitions.
“The Uruguay international was also a part of the side that won the UEFA Europa Conference League in May 2022.
“Good luck for the future, Matias!”
Several sources in Italy claim Roma will get €8.1m plus €1m add-ons.
Sassuolo have already replaced Vina by signing Josh Doig from Hellas Verona.
