Milan stars took to social media to react to a 3-0 win over Monza at San Siro on Sunday. Simic scored on his debut after replacing the injured Tommaso Pobega in the first half and many Rossoneri players publicly congratulated their young teammate on Instagram. Among them were Giroud, Pulisic and Rafael Leao.
Okafor also got his name on the scoresheet but was subbed off in the second half due to an injury.
The Swiss striker provided a quick injury update on Instagram, saying that he had suffered a small hamstring problem and that he hoped to return to action as soon as possible.
