Inter are set to announce Lautaro Martinez and Federico Dimarco’s contract extensions until 2028, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan will sign a new deal until 2025 with an option for a further season.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the details behind Lautaro, Dimarco and Mkhitaryan’s contract extensions with Inter. According to the report, the Nerazzurri have reached agreements with their star trio and are expected to release official statements by January 6, 2024.

Lautaro and Dimarco will extend until 2028. The Argentinean striker will become the highest-paid player in the team with a new €8m-a-year salary plus add-ons. El Toro is currently on a €6m-a-year deal plus bonuses at the Stadio Meazza.

Dimarco will also sign until 2028 with a pay rise, valid from next season. The Italian defender currently gets €2.2m per season but will earn €4m per year from 2024-25.

Mkhitaryan was expected to sign his new contract this week, but his agent, Rafaela Pimenta, has remained abroad with other work commitments and will be in Milan next week to put pen to paper on a new deal for the Armenian midfielder.

Mkhitaryan’s contract expires in June 2024, but the former Manchester United midfielder has agreed to extend until 2025 with an option for a further season. His current €4m-a-year salary will be confirmed in the new deal.
