Victor Osimhen made sure to remind Juventus supporters of Napoli’s 5-1 win over them last season during the meeting of the two sides at the Allianz Stadium on Friday night.
It was the Old Lady’s night this time around, as a second half intervention from centre-back Federico Gatti provided the only goal of the game.
It had been somewhat of a frustrating evening for Osimhen, who had slipped teammate Khvicha Kvarateskhelia through one-on-one at 0-0 only for the Georgian to fumble his lines and chip the ball over the bar from the edge of the box.
Osimhen then had a goal of his own ruled out for offside later on in proceedings.
Before leaving the field of play, though, the Nigerian briefly raised his hands to make a “5-1” gesture to the Bianconeri supporters, referencing Napoli’s statement victory over Juve on their way to the Serie A title back in January.
hahahahahaha thats funny, however the 5-1 means nothing, as its in the past, this so called rivaly is deeply one sided , should never cherry pick stats.
I recall Totti’s 4 fingers and Tudor’s slap
Remember that one time, when we beat you? Let’s now raise your hands and gesture the amount of scudetti to remind everyone in case they forgot.
@Older Lady I guess if they counted the Scudetti they won honestly, it would only be on 1 hand.
