Olivier Giroud returns to Milan‘s starting XI alongside Ruben Loftus-Cheek in a key Champions League meeting with Borussia Dortmund at the Stadio Meazza.

It kicks off at 20:00 GMT.

The Rossoneri have five points in Group F, one fewer than PSG and two below leaders Borussia Dortmund who visit the Diavoli tonight.

Giroud served the first of a two-match ban in Serie A on Saturday and returns to Milan’s starting XI alongside Loftus-Cheek who was introduced as a substitute in the second half against Fiorentina this past weekend.

Yacine Adli is favourite over Rade Krunic in central midfield, while Samuel Chukwueze and Christian Pulisic are expected to start on the right and left wing respectively.

Rafael Leao and Noah Okafor are out of action, but there are more injured players at Milanello as Pierre Kalulu, Marco Sportiello, Marco Pellegrino and Mattia Caldara have also been ruled out, while Ismael Bennacer and Luka Romero have been left out of the Rossoneri’s UEFA list.

Felix Nmecha and Niklas Sule are not available for Borussia Dortmund who beat Borussia Mönchengladbach 4-2 in their latest Bundesliga game on Saturday.
