Stefano Pioli explains how Milan are trying to get over their goal problem and deal with Kvicha Kvaratskhelia in tonight’s trip to Napoli.

It kicks off at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona at 19.45 GMT.

You can follow all the build-up and action as it happens from this game and Inter-Roma on the LIVEBLOG.

These sides met four times last season, Napoli winning at San Siro before a 4-0 defeat at home, then the Rossoneri winning the Champions League quarter-final 2-1 on aggregate.

“All games are important for us and an opportunity to show what we can do,” Pioli told DAZN.

“We are still only in Week 10, so nothing is decisive, but it is important and we prepared it that way too.”

Milan have not scored a single goal in the Champions League so far this season and their Serie A form hasn’t been great either.

“Our objective is to get more players into the box, but we must try to dominate the match to do that. At times we can score goals even with few players or an individual move.”

There are numerous injuries, missing Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Samuel Chukwueze, Simon Kjaer, Ismael Bennacer, Marco Sportiello and Mattia Caldara.

“Noah Okafor and Luka Jovic are fine now and they are available.”

The danger man for Napoli is Kvaratskhelia, especially as Victor Osimhen is out injured, and he will be faced by captain Davide Calabria.

“Napoli produce a great deal in attack and we must defend in a solid and focused way, trying to allow as little space as possible to players of quality like Kvaratskhelia. We had other alternatives like Alessandro Florenzi, Pellegrino and Bartesaghi. These are the choices we made.”
