According to multiple reports in Italy, Milan have offered €15m to sign Porto striker Mehdi Taremi, while Alexis Saelemaekers has agreed to join Bologna.

The Rossoneri are on the lookout for a new backup striker and Taremi is their leading candidate in the final days of the summer transfer window.

La Gazzetta dello Sport and Calciomercato.com claim the Rossoneri won’t offer more than €15m for 31-year-old forward Taremi whose contract with Porto expires in June 2024.

Calciomercato reports that Taremi is pushing to join Milan and a meeting between members of his entourage and Porto directors is expected to take place on Monday. According to both media, Porto have set Taremi’s price tag at €25m.

The Rossoneri are also working on sales and Saelemaekers has reportedly agreed to join Bologna.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Belgian winger is waiting for Milan’s green light before moving to the Stadio Dall’Ara.

The Rossoneri are negotiating over a potential loan deal with an option to buy.
