Sky Sport Italia reports Bayern Munich are considering making a bid for Milan defender Pierre Kalulu to replace Benjamin Pavard who is pushing to join Inter.

The Nerazzurri have an agreement with the player and the Bavarians, but Thomas Tuchel is unwilling to let Pavard go unless the club signs a replacement. The German tactician confirmed his stance during a pre-match interview on Sunday.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Bayern have now targeted Milan defender Kalulu who, given his versatility, could be a valuable replacement for Pavard.

Monday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, page 14, reports instead that Bayern are in talks with Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah, who Tuchel coached during his spell at Stamford Bridge.

The pink paper claims Bayern directors will meet Tuchel today to convince him to let Pavard leave as the defender’s contract expires in June, so he’ll go as a free agent at the end of the season if Bayern don’t sell him now.
