Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Inter have scheduled medicals for incoming Aarhus defender Yann Aurel Bisseck.

The Nerazzurri lost Milan Skriniar on a free transfer last week and have been looking for a replacement for the Slovakian centre back.

Bisseck was quickly highlighted as an affordable and exciting option, so Inter have been in close contact with both his entourage and his club Aarhus.

As detailed by Di Marzio, Inter will pay Bisseck’s €7m release clause, which’ll be sent in two instalments to Aarhus over the next two years.

He is expected to arrive in Italy in the early stages of next week to undergo his medicals before putting pen to paper on his five-year contract with the Nerazzurri.

The 22-year-old German centre back impressed last season with Aarhus, scoring five goals and providing three assists in 35 total appearances, regularly showing his intelligence and defensive solidity.

The arrival of Bisseck allows Inter to pay full focus to their other key targets, like Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku and Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi.
