Singer Liam Gallagher thanked the Milan fans during his concert and took a moment to poke fun at their intercity rivals Inter.

The former Oasis singer is a lifelong fan of Manchester City, so was overjoyed to see Pep Guardiola’s side beat the Nerazzurri in the Champions League final in Istanbul last month.

Inter put up a tough fight but were unable to convert their chances, allowing the Cityzens to see out a 1-0 win thanks to a 68th minute strike from Rodri.

As filmed by journalist Nicholas David Altea, Gallagher addressed the crowd ahead of the song Wonderwall, first asking if there were “any Inter fans in the house”, which led to a few whistles from the crowd.

He then asked “any Manchester City fans in the house?” before thanking the Milan fans for their love and respect, commenting “I’ve got to admit though the Milan fans have been very nice while we’ve been here.”
