Italy Under-21 starlet Raoul Bellanova will have his medical with Torino tomorrow, after Inter failed to activate their option to buy from Cagliari.

The right-sided winger was one of the best performers for the Azzurrini in the European Under-21 Championship and unlucky to see his goal against France not given due to the lack of goal-line technology.

He spent this season on loan from Cagliari at a cost of €3m with an option to buy for a further €7m, which Inter decided not to take up.

They had hoped to negotiate a cheaper deal with the Sardinians, but instead were beaten to their target by Torino, who agreed terms with both the club and player at circa €8m.

According to Sportitalia, Bellanova will have his medical with the Granata on Friday, returning home from the early exit in that tournament in Romania and Georgia.

The 20-year-old made 22 competitive appearances for Inter this season, contributing one assist, and played in the Champions League Final against Manchester United.
