Fabiano Parisi is Juventus’ top target to strengthen their left flank but first they need to make some space in their squad.

The 22-year-old Italian left back shined this season for Empoli, scoring two goals and providing two assists in 33 Serie A appearances. With two years left on his contract in Tuscany, now may be the perfect time for the club to cash in on the transfer market.

Juventus are in the market for a new left wing back, giving Filip Kostic some reliable backup, but limited resources restrict their abilities to invest heavily, forcing them to work smart.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus want to sign Parisi this summer but first need to make some space in that area of the pitch, with two possible candidates who could depart.

The first is Luca Pellegrini, who spent the season on loan with Eintracht Frankfurt and Lazio, and the second is Samuel Iling-Junior, who has attracted some attention from England and could be sold for around €20m.

Juventus are willing to pay around €12m for Parisi and have already held exploratory talks. They would also like to insert a player or two in the deal, willing to include Andrea Ranocchia and one of Matias Soule or Fabio Miretti on loan.
