Milan are working hard to try and beat out Paris Saint-Germain to Marcus Thuram and even their French stars are making a case for the club, reports suggest.

The 25-year-old forward has left Borussia Monchengladbach on a free transfer this month and is now thinking about where to move next, with Milan and PSG being the most interested parties.

Both clubs have already offered their deals to Thuram, with the former promising a leading role in Stefano Pioli’s squad and the latter offering more lucrative terms.

As reported by French outlet Sports Zone, Thuram is expected to make a decision between Milan and PSG next week, and the Rossoneri stars are hard at working trying to convince him of the move to Lombardy.

Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez and Olivier Giroud – who are all in the France camp for this international break – have been pushing for him to join the Rossoneri. Thuram reportedly prefers Paris, but the majority of opinions regarding the Ligue 1 giants are negative amongst Les Bleus players.
