Vincenzo Italiano insists Fiorentina must be ‘proud’ of their season even after the Coppa Italia Final defeat to Inter, as they have ‘faith and enthusiasm’ going into the Conference League showdown with West Ham.

First up, they welcome Roma in their final Serie A home match of the season.

It kicks off at the Stadio Artemio Franchi at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT).

You can follow all the build-up and action as it happens from this game and Inter-Atalanta on the LIVEBLOG.

Both these teams are preparing for their UEFA Finals, as Roma take on Sevilla on May 31, then Fiorentina face West Ham United on June 7.

“We must be proud of what we’ve done this season, as reaching two Finals is a great achievement,” Italiano told DAZN.

The Viola were already tested on Wednesday, fumbling an early lead to lose the Coppa Italia Final 2-1 to Inter.

“It’s a pity about the first, we gave our all to win it for our fans. We were up against a strong opponent and left it with heads held high.

“We must have faith and enthusiasm for the next Final and certainly not give up now.”

Italiano received an award, as he was named Serie A Coach of the Month for April, plus a special commemorative framed jersey marking his 100th game on the Fiorentina bench.
