Celebrations continued long into the evening on Thursday night after Roma booked their place in the Europa League final after holding out for a 0-0 draw away to Bayer Leverkusen to confirm a 1-0 victory over the two legs of the semi.
In the early hours of Friday morning, the Giallorossi’s social media accounts posted clips of the players and coaching staff celebrating their Europa League success in the changing room at the BayArena.
The players can be heard chanting “we’re going to the final”, lifting Marash Kumbulla’s jersey aloft while posing for a team photo.
Jose Mourinho had also celebrated with the supporters on the pitch earlier in the evening in a clip which proved to be popular on social media.
Roma will now meet six-time Europa League winners Sevilla in the final of the competition at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on May 31.
