The blue and black half of the city of Milan was in celebratory spirit after Inter qualified for the Champions League final for the first time since 2010 at the expense of Stefano Pioli and the Rossoneri on Tuesday night.

Many parts of the city, particularly the Piazza del Duomo became flooded with Nerazzurri supporters who turned out in their thousands to celebrate their side’s success in Europe’s flagship competition.

Armed with flags, flares, drums and a reason to celebrate, the festivities continued long into the night on Tuesday.

Simone Inzaghi’s side will face either Real Madrid or Manchester City in the Champions League final in Istanbul on June 10 depending on the outcome of Wednesday evening’s other semi-final second leg.
