Massimilano Allegri is expected to change the shape of Juventus’ starting line-up and revert to a front three when the Bianconeri take to the field in Lisbon to take on Sporting CP in the Europa League quarter-final second leg.

There will be several changes from the team that started in the 1-0 loss to Sassuolo in Serie A on Sunday, but ultimately it will be a similar looking side to the one that started the first leg of the quarters against Sporting.

Wojciech Szczesny is expected to make his return to action, having been substituted off with chest pains in the first half of last Thursday’s game against Sporting at the Allianz Stadium.

Danilo, Gleison Bremer and Federico Gatti are the defenders expected to start for Allegri at the Estadio Jose Alvalade.

The width will be provided by Juan Cuadrado and Filip Kostic, whilst Manuel Locatelli and Adriend Rabiot will likely occupy the midfield positions.

In attack, Angel Di Maria and Federico Chiesa are the probable candidates to flank Dusan Vlahovic, who is set to start for his second game in succession.

Kick off in Portugal is at 20.00 UK time.

Sporting CP (3-4-3): Adan; Diomande, Gonçalo Inacio, Coates; Esgaio, Morita, Pedro Gonçalves, Nuno Santos; Edwards, Chermiti, Trincao.

Juventus (3-4-3): Szczesny; Danilo, Bremer Gatti; Cuadrado, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Di Maria, Vlahovic, Chiesa.
