Forward Ola Solbakken carried out his first Roma training session with his new teammates at Trigoria yesterday.

The Norwegian winger shot to prominence last season after scoring three goals in two Europa Conference League group stage clashes with the Giallorossi back in October and November 2021. Injuries kept the 24-year-old sidelined for large parts of last season, but his work still attracted the attention of Roma, who waited to add him to their squad.

As highlighted by Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma have officially completed their signing of Solbakken, after his contract expired with Bodo/Glimt yesterday. He joined his new teammates in his first squad training session in Trigoria, finally giving him the chance to work with Jose Mourinho.

The arrival of the Norwegian winger will give the Giallorossi a key attacking boost in the second half of this season, and Mourinho will be hoping that he can help solve their issues in front of goal.
